A CPG brand seeks to increase the number of consumers trying their product which is sold in the frozen food aisle of select grocery stores nationwide.

Goal

Increase signups where consumers share receipt of their purchase and they in turn receive money back for trying the product.

Targeting

The brand provided a list of over 600 grocery stores nationwide that carry their product. OnSpot identified all visitors to these store locations within the previous 6 weeks of campaign launch.

Execution

Media was served on Meta (Facebook) between May - July 2023 to the devices identified in the target audience.

Results

Prior to using OnSpot audiences, the brand utilized Meta's interest targeting.

  • Signups between April - May 2023 using Meta's interest targeting: 113
  • Signups between May - July 2023 using OnSpot's location-based targeting: 2,538

Conclusion

Reaching real, recent grocery store visitors rather than generic interest targeting significantly improved the signups for this campaign - by over 2,000% !
